pdfintoword.com provides free, browser-based PDF tools and guides. This page explains what we collect and what we don't.

How the tools handle your files

Every tool on this site processes files entirely in your browser using JavaScript that runs on your device. Your PDF or image is not uploaded to pdfintoword.com or to any third-party conversion server. When you close the tab or leave the page, the in-memory file data is discarded by the browser like any other temporary page data.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not store the contents of documents you open in the tools. We do not sell personal data.

Website analytics and logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical requests (for example, IP address, browser type, and the page URL) for security and reliability.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site (for example, which pages are visited and how they interact with the UI). Clarity may collect usage data such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, and anonymized session recordings. It does not receive your PDF or image files; those stay in your browser. Clarity is loaded only after the page has finished loading so it does not affect core page performance. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement for how Microsoft processes this data.

Cookies

The core site and tools do not require cookies to function. If cookies are introduced later (for example, for optional preferences), we will document them here.

Guides on this site may mention Microsoft Word or other products. Those products have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
